Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Energy Projects Development Manager to lead the development of decarbonised energy solutions for large energy users. The role is home-based with national travel, requiring cross-functional collaboration and direct customer engagement to shape and present final proposals.

You will manage complex opportunities, contribute to governance, and drive multiple projects from concept to delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in project development for engineering/construction projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in various forms.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities with changing priorities.
• Experience with decarbonisation solutions is an advantage.

The aim is to win high-quality work and set project delivery teams up for success.Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Business Development, Technical Direction, Supply Chain, cost estimating and scheduling specialists. You'll lead on the project execution plan, give constructability advice as designs evolve, contribute to proposals, and help build cost and time plans.Customer engagement: Talk directly with customers to understand their needs, evolve solutions in response, and present the final proposals to them.Complex opportunities and supply chain: Handle complex projects with interlinked techno-economic capital and operating models and third-party funding mechanisms. Work with key supply chain partners to offer the best solutions and be confident the projects can be delivered.Governance and delivery link: Present your work internally through the project governance process.
