Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Employability Tutor / Trainer to deliver community-based training across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. This home-based role involves travel and delivering employability programmes from enrolment through to completion.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience delivering employability training to groups. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability training to groups.
• Understanding of Ofsted EIF.
• Ability to engage and inspire learners in group/classroom settings.
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients towards employment.
• Confident, tenacious and able to work on own initiative.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Flexibility with travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based/outreach employability training services to unemployed participants aged 19+.
• Prepare, deliver and coach learners in group-based settings through Employability programmes from enrolment to completion.
• Deliver engaging and motivating training sessions.
• Support learners to progress to employment or further training.
• Be flexible with delivery methods and differentiate for learner needs.
• Plan delivery and assessment through schemes of work and lesson planning.
• Assist clients with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building and career guidance.
• Manage and monitor learner data and ALS/support requests.
