Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking a Lead Employability Tutor for an office-based, part-time role in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire. You will deliver high-quality employability training while overseeing day-to-day programme activity and supporting learners throughout their journey.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering government-funded employability programmes, strong learner-engagement skills and the ability to coordinate programme delivery with employers and partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering government-funded employability programmes.
• Experience as an Employability Tutor or in a similar role.
• Ability to engage learners and coordinate programme delivery.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent and learner support requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging employability training and workplace-readiness activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day programme delivery and monitor learner progress.
• Manage learner engagement, attendance, retention and progression.
• Support inductions, initial assessments and ILPs.
• Maintain accurate learner records and programme documentation.
• Work with employers and partners to develop progression opportunities.
• Support programme quality, reporting and continuous improvement.
