Job summary

Trigon Recruitment Limited is partnering with a leading training provider in South London to recruit an Employability Tutor for Croydon & Merton. The role delivers community learning programmes across South London, focusing on employability, ESOL, digital skills and family learning.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Qualification (AET or equivalent) and experience helping adults or families progress into employment, education or volunteering opportunities, with safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learning to adults and/or families.
• Ability to motivate learners with varying abilities and barriers.
• Strong understanding of learner progression.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Employability Skills, ESOL, Digital Skills, and Family Learning across South London.
• Plan engaging lessons and monitor learner progress.
• Support learners to progress into education, employment or volunteering.
• Work across community venues with a learner-centred approach.

What we're looking for:

• Experience delivering learning to adults and/or families
• Background in Employability, ESOL, Functional Skills, Digital Skills or Community Learning
• Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying abilities and barriers
• Strong understanding of learner progression, safeguarding and inclusive teaching practices
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification (AET or equivalent)
