Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Master Baker to transition into a technical sales support role for a bakery equipment manufacturer. You will combine hands-on bakery expertise with commercial focus to back the sales team across the UK and Ireland, and participate in European product tests and training sessions.

The position is home-based with regular client visits, and includes travel to Europe 4–6 times per year for tests and intensive initial training.

Qualifications

• This role requires a qualified and experienced Bakery Manager or Supervisor with experience in product development or continuous improvement.
• You will ideally have experience with automated pastry lines.
• You will have relevant bakery or pastry qualifications and strong client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team with detailed bakery knowledge and product tests.
• Lead customer trainings and trials in Europe, and travel 4–6 times a year for product tests and development.
• Balance working from home with client visits across the UK and Ireland, including occasional Europe trips.
