Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a commercially minded Master Baker or Bakery Manager to move into a technical sales support role for a manufacturer of bakery equipment, specifically dough processing systems, sold to the bakery market across the UK, both to large commercial & smaller artisan/craft bakeries.

This home-based role covers the UK & Ireland, with 1-week Europe training/trials 4–6 times a year and periodic trips for product tests.

Qualifications

• Experienced Bakery Manager or Supervisor with experience of product development or continuous improvement.
• Experience with automated pastry lines desired.
• Relevant bakery or pastry chef qualifications required.
• Excellent communications and comfortable working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to clients and the sales team.
• Balance home-based work with on-site client visits.
• Coordinate Europe training/trials 1 week at a time, 4–6 times yearly.
• Support product tests and trials with the team.
