Job summary

Allied Health Professionals Suffolk CIC is recruiting for a WorkWell Coach to join the new Suffolk WorkWell service, created in partnership with Suffolk Mind. You will build trusted relationships, assess needs and coordinate practical support across health, employment, skills and community services to help people stay in or return to work.

The role focuses on early-intervention, low-intensity work and health support, with person-centred care and equality in recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing one-to-one coaching, advice, guidance or support.
• Experience of working with people facing health, disability, employment or wider social barriers.
• Understanding of person-centred assessment, goal setting and behaviour.
• Awareness of safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries and risk escalation.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete holistic assessments and co-produce practical WorkWell plans with clear goals.
• Provide personalised coaching and low-intensity work and health support.
• Work with employers, with participant consent, to explore support, adjustments and sustainable return-to-work options.
• Connect participants with the right local services through warm handovers and joined-up support.
