Job summary

Single Homeless Project (SHP) in Camden is seeking a Project Worker to support people facing homelessness and complex challenges. You will develop personalised plans, run group activities and help clients build skills to move toward independent living.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will champion recovery, harm minimisation and trauma-informed care while staying adaptable in a dynamic environment that places clients at the centre of every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people facing multiple challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma, or offending histories.
• Carry out assessments, create support plans and manage a caseload tailored to each individual.
• Understand barriers to independence and have the skills to help overcome them.
• Stay calm and effective in a crisis, with the confidence to respond safely and constructively.
• Ideally have experience working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE).
• Be organized, manage time well and balance independent work with teamwork.

Responsibilities
