Job summary

Single Homeless Project in Camden is seeking a motivated Project Worker to support individuals facing homelessness and related challenges using a biopsychosocial approach. You’ll provide compassionate, personalised support grounded in a psychologically informed environment.

You’ll develop tailored plans, run activities, build skills for independence, and work with a range of professionals to ensure integrated, recovery‑oriented care, helping clients progress toward stable futures in London.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people facing multiple challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma or offending histories.
• Ability to carry out assessments, create support plans and manage a caseload tailored to each individual.
• Understanding barriers to independence and skills to help people overcome them.
• Calm and effective in crises, able to respond safely and constructively.
• Belief in people’s strengths; ideally experience in a Psychologically Informed Environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored support plans and assess clients’ needs.
• Facilitate group activities and skill-building for independent living.
• Strengthen relationships and expand social networks for clients.
• Champion harm minimisation and recovery within care teams.
• Collaborate with professionals to ensure integrated, responsive care for individuals.
• Balance independent working with supportive teamwork to achieve positive outcomes.
