Job summary

Single Homeless Project in London is seeking a Duty Worker to join our Camden Rough Sleeping Outreach Hub in a full-time, permanent role. You’ll be a key first point of contact and help clients access the right support.

Working 8am–4pm Monday to Friday, you’ll coordinate appointments, liaise with partner agencies and escalate safeguarding concerns. The role offers a clear path to develop knowledge of homelessness services and career progression within SHP.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy client-facing, reception, administrative or support roles.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and ability to manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries and direct clients to appropriate support.
• Coordinate appointments, calendars and day-to-day admin.
• Escalate safeguarding or welfare concerns promptly.
• Support outreach teams and partner agencies for joined-up services.
