Job summary

National Trust in Ripon seeks a Holidays Operation Team Leader to oversee 15 cottages at Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks. You will lead a team, ensure safety and quality, coordinate maintenance, and manage changeovers with flexibility. The role includes some Saturday cover and shift-based days in a 10-hour weekly pattern.

You will work with the Holidays Manager to maintain high standards, supervise guest materials, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Job description

Holidays Operation Team Leader - Ripon, You'll be focused on making sure that our operations are compliant with health and safety. You'll be familiar with working to risk assessments, COSHH procedures, accident reporting and fire safety. You'll help to coordinate maintenance work and repairs, making sure our cottages look their best for our guests, and that all our guest materials are up to date and in good order.
You'll work with the Holidays Manager and the Holidays Assistant Managers in the area to provide a service that's efficient, effective and flexible. You'll be ensuring there's cover for changeovers and that we always meet our high standards in line with our Holidays changeover guide. The role may also include helping with changeovers in cottages, and some Saturday cover when needed. You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached.

We're looking for a Holidays Operation Team Leader to take the lead in presenting and looking after the National Trust's 15 popular holiday cottages at Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks. This role is all about high standards, care and attention to detail., We'd love to hear from you if you're:

• Salary: 13.25 per hour
• Contract Duration: Permanent Working Pattern: You'll work 10 hours (2x5 hour shifts) per week. You will most commonly work Mondays and Fridays, although shifts may be required on any day of the week except Sunday. Bank Holiday working is expected. A typical shift runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
