Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Holidays Operation Team Leader to oversee the presentation and upkeep of holiday cottages in Lacock and Avebury, ensuring high standards and excellent guest experience.

You’ll work with Holidays Manager and colleagues to manage health and safety, risk assessments, maintenance, and changeovers, with occasional Saturday duties and on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with health and safety, risk assessments and fire safety.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep cottages in excellent condition for guests.
• Maintain up-to-date guest materials and information.
• Work with Holidays Manager and Holidays Assistant Managers to provide efficient, flexible service.
• Arrange cover for changeovers and assist with occasional Saturday duties.

This role is all about high standards, care and attention to detail. We’re looking for a Holidays Operation Team Leader to take the lead in presenting and looking after the National Trust’s holiday cottages in Lacock and Avebury in Wltshire

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Contract: Permanent

Hours/ working pattern: Part-time, 18 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be focused on making sure that our operations are compliant with health and safety. You’ll be familiar with working to risk assessments, COSHH procedures, accident reporting and fire safety. You'll help to coordinate maintenance work and repairs, making sure our cottages look their best for our guests, and that all our guest materials are up to date and in good order. You'll work with the Holidays Manager and the Holidays Assistant Managers in the area to provide a service that’s efficient, effective and flexible. You’ll be ensuring there’s cover for changeovers and that we always meet our high standards in line with our Holidays changeover guide. The role may also include helping with changeovers in cottages, and some Saturday cover when needed. You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached.
