Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking a Designate General Manager to lead a large holiday park in the UK, overseeing every department and driving commercial performance. You will shape strategy, ensure safety and compliance, and develop a high-performing team across multiple parks within the region.

This role requires senior leadership experience, a strong commercial mindset and the ability to manage complex operations. Flexibility to travel regionally and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Senior-level leadership experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to lead across operational and commercial functions, including sales environments.
• Leadership style built on culture, engagement, development and accountability.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering financial performance and EBITDA targets.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• High IT competence with the ability to work confidently across multiple systems.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, capable of managing complex workloads and competing priorities.
• High emotional intelligence, capable of leading through conflict and change.
• A proactive approach to personal and professional development.
• Experience delivering fast-paced, large-scale operational or commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as ambassador for our company values and drive a high-performance culture.
• Lead all park departments and align commercial strategies with park objectives.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, GDPR, and legal requirements.
• Manage park financial performance including revenue, budgets and controllable costs.
• Recruit, onboard and develop Heads of Department with the central People Team.
• Lead weekly HOD meetings and develop departmental business plans with targets.
• Collaborate with regional and central teams to maintain high standards across the park.
• Drive guest and owner experience improvements based on feedback.
• Travel region with a full UK driving licence and provide leadership wherever needed.
