Job summary

Uddingston Hockey Club seeks a proactive Hockey Club Manager to oversee daily operations, administration and development. You will support players, parents, coaches and volunteers, ensuring a smooth running and welcoming environment.

The role covers memberships, fixtures, facilities, sponsorship and community programmes, with a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays. Experience with Teamo is preferred, along with strong governance awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a sports club or equivalent environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams, bookings and volunteers.
• Experience with memberships, registrations and payments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of Uddingston Hockey Club.
• Coordinate fixtures, training and club activities.
• Support coaches, managers and volunteers.
• Manage club records, administration and communications.
• Grow sponsorship, fundraising and community engagement.
• Liaise with governing bodies and ensure governance compliance.
• Promote club achievements and events.
• Coordinate communications, social media and website updates.
