Job summary

Elton High School invites applications for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to join our SEND team. The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week during term time plus three days during school closures, supporting a range of SEND students with planned interventions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse additional needs.
• Experience running, monitoring and reviewing interventions.
• Ability to liaise with external agencies and build positive relationships with staff, parents and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a wide range of needs within the SEND department.
• Plan, deliver and review interventions to meet students’ needs.
• Work collaboratively with staff and external partners to raise achievement.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives in school.
