Job summary

Elton High School in Bury is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to support a diverse SEND cohort within the dedicated SEND team. The role is 32.5 hours per week across term time plus three days during school closures, with a salary range of £32,578–£35,570 FTE (actual pro rata £25,025–£27,323).

The successful candidate will work with pupils with diverse needs, delivering and reviewing interventions, and liaising with families and external agencies to raise attainment.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting students with a wide range of additional needs.
• Ability to run, monitor and review interventions.
• Good liaison with external agencies and families, building positive relationships.
