Northern Star Academies Trust is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the Resource Provision at Holycroft Primary School. The role supports pupils with Communication and Interaction needs, including autistic pupils and those with SLCN.

Work alongside the Resource Provision Lead, SENDCo, families and professionals to help children communicate, participate, belong and thrive. The post is part-time, 30 hours per week during term time plus one week, with hours 8:30am-3:15pm,

Qualificações

• HLTA status or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience supporting autistic learners or pupils with communication needs is desirable.
• Commitment to inclusive education and high standards of pupil care.

Responsabilidades

• Support the SENDCo and Resource Provision Lead in daily operations.
• Deliver targeted interventions and personalised learning programmes.
• Support pupils in both specialist and mainstream settings.
• Use communication approaches such as visual supports and structured teaching.
• Promote social understanding, emotional regulation and independence.
• Model best practice and support colleague development.
• Collaborate with families and external agencies to achieve best outcomes.
• Create a nurturing, structured, inclusive environment for all pupils.
