Job summary

St Wilfrid's Academy in Doncaster is seeking a HLTA to join our all-through provision on a permanent, full-time basis, commencing January 2027. You will complement teachers, assist planning, supervise classes during short-term absences and support pupils to become independent learners, while contributing to academy policies and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies.
• Supervise whole classes during short-term absence of teachers.
• Provide support to pupils, teachers and the academy to raise standards of achievement, encourage independent learning, and support pupil welfare and inclusion.
