Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Bromborough to join a welcoming primary school community. The role blends whole-class cover with targeted small-group intervention work, paying £95 - £115 per day depending on HLTA role and qualifications.

You will work with class teachers and SENCOs to ensure tailored support, while developing leadership skills in education and training. Regular local placements and professional backing accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or Level 4 qualification.
• Proven experience as HLTA/TA in primary education.
• Enhanced DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across year groups during PPA/absence.
• Lead booster sessions in maths, phonics and literacy.
• Coordinate with teachers and SENCOs to tailor pupil support.
• Maintain a positive classroom climate and strong management.
