Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising lessons in the absence of teaching staff
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and following school schemes of work
• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and resources
• Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups
• Managing classroom behaviour firmly, fairly and consistently
• Supporting students with their learning and development
• Working with students with a range of abilities and additional needs
• Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Communicating effectively with teachers and school leaders
• Following safeguarding and school policies
