Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Wakefield is searching for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support KS1 pupils and work with the Key Stage 1 team. The role is a contract until summer 2026, based in Wakefield and subject to a DBS check.

You will assist classroom teachers, lead small groups, and help create a positive, engaging learning environment, with opportunities for professional development in a friendly school community.

Qualifications

• Experienced in working with KS1 children.
• Organised, enthusiastic and adaptable.
• Committed to promoting children's development and well-being.
• Hold a Level 4 or have relevant HLTA experience.
