Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Primary School in Wakefield to recruit a confident Primary HLTA for day-to-day cover with an immediate start.

You will support pupils across KS1 or KS2, lead small groups, and provide classroom cover as required, with HLTA qualification and strong classroom management.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Experience across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning within a primary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Primary HLTA. The school provides a welcoming and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking for a confident Primary HLTA to provide day-to-day cover with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary HLTA will support pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2, assisting with learning activities, leading groups and providing classroom cover where required.

The successful Primary HLTA will have:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification
• Experience working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 or Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Experience supporting teaching and learning within a primary school
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
