TeacherActive is recruiting a confident Primary HLTA for a Wakefield mainstream primary school. The role involves day-to-day classroom cover, leading learning activities and supporting pupils across KS1/KS2 to boost confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

The successful candidate will hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent, have experience across KS1/KS2, strong classroom management and excellent communication skills. The school offers a welcoming environment and supportive team.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Experience working across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning activities and small/large group instruction.
• Provide day-to-day classroom cover where required.
• Support pupils across KS1/KS2 with learning activities and routines.
