Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming secondary school in the Waterlooville area. The role is full-time, with an immediate start, and offers a competitive daily rate of £110 to £125 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes of students aged 11-16 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide targeted support to SEN learners to access the curriculum and participate in activities.
• Maintain a positive, calm, and purposeful learning environment and manage behaviour per school policy.
• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff regarding pupil engagement, progress and conduct.
