Job summary

Simply Education is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across secondary schools in Buckinghamshire. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, support students one-to-one or in small groups, and cover lessons when required.

We value reliable, enthusiastic candidates with strong classroom management and a genuine passion for helping young people. SEND experience is desirable, and you will be part of a supportive school-wide team.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working as an HLTA.
• Ideally have experience within a secondary school environment.
• Have strong classroom management skills.
• Are confident delivering lessons and supporting learning.
• Can build positive relationships with students.
• Are reliable, professional and enthusiastic.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Can work effectively as part of a wider school team.
• SEND experience would also be highly desirable, particularly for candidates interested in supporting students with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and learning activities.
• Supporting students individually or in small groups.
