Job summary

Cedar Children's Academy is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. You will lead learning across the school, provide high-quality class cover when teachers are absent, and deliver targeted interventions for individual pupils and small groups.

You will work collaboratively with teachers to raise standards, promote inclusion and help every child reach their full potential. Experience in a primary setting and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
• Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support all learners.
• A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About The Role

Cedar Children's Academy are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team.

As a HLTA, you will work across the school, leading learning and providing high-quality class cover in the absence of teachers, as well as delivering targeted interventions and support for individual pupils and small groups.
