Job summary

Meadowfield Primary School in Leeds is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across the key stages. This term-time role is part-time (34 hours/week) with training days, Monday to Friday 8:30–16:00, working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences and targeted interventions.

You will support pupils to achieve their full potential, contribute to inclusive practice and be part of a friendly, collaborative team within our East Leeds

Qualifications

• Hold, or be working towards, HLTA qualification or QTS.
• Experience supporting children and young people, including those with SEND.
• Experience leading whole-class learning and delivering targeted interventions.
• Commitment to inclusive education and pupil progress.

About You

To be a good fit for this role, you will :

• Hold, or be working towards, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification, or hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience of supporting children and young people, including those with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
• Have experience of leading whole-class learning and delivering targeted interventions that support pupil progress.
• Understand child development and learning, recognising that every child learns differently and requires an inclusive approach to support their success.
• Be enthusiastic, positive and committed to helping every child achieve their potential.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families, contributing to a supportive and inclusive school community.
