Job summary

Woodthorpe Primary School is seeking a positive and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to complement teachers and the SENCo, taking responsibility for learning activities under supervision.

The role involves working within our specialist SEND provision with small group intervention and some 1:1 support for pupils. HLTA status or QTS/QTLS and GCSEs in maths and English are required.

Qualifications

• Must have HLTA status or QTS/QTLS and GCSE Maths/English at grade C/4+ or above.
• Experience working with children with SEND preferred.
• Ability to plan and deliver intervention programmes with small groups.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for agreed learning activities under supervision.
• Work within SEND provision with small group intervention and some 1:1 support.
