Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lancaster. The role is full-time from September 2026, supporting pupils across EYFS to KS2, covering classes as needed and delivering targeted interventions.
You will work closely with teachers and leaders to ensure every pupil has the best possible learning experience and growth in confidence, with a focus on inclusive education.

This is far more than a classroom support role. You'll become a valued member of the school team, helping children grow in confidence, covering classes when required, delivering engaging interventions and working alongside teachers to ensure every pupil has the best possible learning experience.
Every day is different, but your role may include:
Delivering engaging lessons during teacher PPA time and planned absences.
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Running small group and one-to-one interventions.
Helping children overcome barriers to learning.
Working closely with teachers and senior leaders to provide the very best outcomes for pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
