Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Sheffield is recruiting experienced HLTAs to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools.

Opportunities include day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles with flexible schedules and competitive PAYE pay. Immediate and September starts available; DBS checks are required. Travel between schools may be required and ongoing support is provided by a local consultant.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as HLTA or in a classroom support role.
• Able to lead lessons independently.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Have previous experience working as a HLTA or in a similar classroom support role.
• Be confident leading whole-class learning and delivering lessons independently.
• Have excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
• Be adaptable and able to work across different schools and age groups.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
