Job summary

Cuddington Croft Primary School and Warren Mead Infant and Junior School Partnership are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive teams. Working under the Headteacher, you will help deliver planned lessons, support pupils with a range of needs, and contribute to a safe, engaging learning environment across our two schools.

The role is part-time, term-time, 13.5 hours across two days per week, with opportunities for professional development within the GLF

Qualifications

  • Hold GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above and a HLTA qualification.
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
  • Skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with colleagues, children and parents.
  • Motivated, flexible and committed to safeguarding and high standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Support children's learning under the Headteacher’s direction across the two schools.
  • Provide PPA cover within the nursery provision as required.
