Location: Worksop

Start Date: November 2026

Salary: £174 - £240 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher from November 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis to cover maternity leave.

The successful History Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging History lessons across a combination of Key Stages, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management.

The successful History Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the History curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different abilities
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
