Teaching Personnel are seeking a History Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield. The role covers KS3/KS4 with potential KS5 teaching depending on experience. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for all learners, assess progress and contribute to departmental planning in a supportive team.

We welcome both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). The school offers ongoing CPD, supportive consultants and opportunities across South Yorkshire.

Formación

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive department dedicated to delivering engaging and meaningful History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.

The Role

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students through a broad and balanced curriculum covering key historical topics and periods.
• Differentiate learning to ensure all students can access and succeed within the curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and discussion.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and A-Level qualifications where applicable.
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extracurricular activities.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching History within a secondary school setting.
