Job summary

Selwood Limited is seeking a Regional Account Manager to support the Leeds area. You will ensure clients receive a professional approach promoting the best technical solutions to their pumping requirements to maximise revenues from these customers.

You’ll develop local and regional pump hire business, manage key local accounts and major projects, and work with teams to grow owned accounts nationally. This role offers a clear path for career growth within a leading UK pump rental specialist.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Hire Industry is essential.
• Proven track record in sales and account growth.
• Experience in developing and growing new and existing accounts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Technical pump knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
• Self-motivated with proactive time management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and produce risk assessments and method statements.
• Produce quotes for pumping equipment and hire packages.
• Own all quotations and chase follow-ups with urgency.
• Develop knowledge of pump range and services offered.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and market changes.
• Keep up to date with technology and client industries.
• Plan sales activities using Outlook or CRM.
