Job summary

National Plant Hire Company in Glasgow is seeking a Hire Controller to manage customer enquiries, orders and equipment collections. You will quote prices, plan transport and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to prioritise tasks, and the capacity to work autonomously under deadlines. A comprehensive benefits package applies, with a salary up to £32K per year plus a 7.5% bonus.

Salary - up to £32K / annum + 7.5% bonus

Role:

• First point of contact for customer enquiries
• Responsible for receiving orders and collections of equipment.
• Calculating and supply of quotes
• Planning transport for deliveries and collections

• Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received
• Full training on product range will be given
