Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited is seeking a Hire / Service Controller to join a small, busy team in Basildon. The role pays £27,000 - £30,000 per year and follows standard hours: Monday to Thursday 7am–5pm, Friday 7am–4pm.

You will assist in the hire department, handle day-to-day inquiries including fleet hire, and carry out related administration. The position requires PC literacy and an excellent telephone manner, plus a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Previous Hire / Service Controller experience.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and stay calm under pressure.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.

Duties:

• Assisting in hire department
• Dealing with day-to-day hire enquiries long term & short-term including fleet hire
• Related administration duties.
• Fully PC literate with an excellent telephone manner
• Must be a good team player with a strong work ethic
