Vital Records Control (VRC) seeks an ROI Specialist I within the VitalChart department. This role processes requests for medical records, ensuring HIPAA compliance, privacy protection, and data accuracy.

Formación

• High School Diploma (GED) required; degree preferred.
• Prior experience with ROI fulfillment preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated documentation and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations preferred.
• Experience with EHR/EMR platforms preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process ROI requests for healthcare clients per client procedure.
• Verify patient authorizations for HIPAA compliance.
• Log and classify requests in ROI software.
• Retrieve and upload requested portions of medical charts.
• Perform quality control to ensure accuracy and PHI protection.
• Prepare and release records to authorized entities; reject invalid requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of records.
