Job summary

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor for a long-term freelance contract in Warrington. You will supervise day-to-day site operations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

The role requires a strong background in highways or civil engineering, plus SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications and a CSCS card with First Aid where possible.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification required.
• CSCS Card and First Aid qualifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities.
• Coordinate operatives and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification.
• Monitor the quality and progress of works.
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks.
• Report progress and issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Highways Supervisor
• Strong background in highways or civil engineering projects
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
• CSCS Card and First Aid qualification preferred
