NY Highways in Skipton, North Yorkshire, is seeking a Highways Skilled Operative for a permanent 40‑hour week. This hands‑on role delivers kerbing, drainage, traffic management and routine highway maintenance as part of a small, experienced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways tasks or highways plant operation.
• Relevant Level 2 qualification in highway maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Abrasive Wheels.
• Traffic Management TM1 and TM2.

Responsibilities

• Kerbing, drainage, patching & ironwork repairs.
• Traffic management and verge upkeep.
• Operate highways plant & equipment.
• Join the out‑of‑hours rota for emergencies.
