Job description

FM Conway is currently searching for a professional Site Manager to join our Major Projects division. As our Site Manager, you will regularly attend site visits across Kent, London, and Sussex. You will play a key role within our Major Projects division by ensuring the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with both clients and on-site teams. This full-time, permanent role will be based at our head office in Sevenoaks.

The duties of the Site Manager will include:

1. Ordering plant and materials to support the smooth running of the works programme.
2. Monitoring and maintaining records of plant, labour, and materials, along with works additional to the programme.
3. Monitoring works to enable the accurate submission of monthly invoices and final account settlement.
4. Ensuring that all works, including snagging, are completed to a timely and satisfactory standard.

What skills and experience do you need?

We are seeking a professional Site Manager with previous experience in civil engineering works. The successful candidate must be able to plan, coordinate, and allocate resources, prepare risk assessments and method statements, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Highway experience is essential, as well as an ONC, HNC, or degree in civil engineering.
