Job description

The company is seeking a Site Agent to oversee civil engineering infrastructure projects in and around Reading and London. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting high standards of health and safety by ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place for all aspects of the work. You will check engineering drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving design conflicts.

You will manage Sub Agents, Section Engineers, and Site Engineers, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

The projects involved include infrastructure, bridge infrastructure, highways, concrete structures, land drainage, internal drainage, flood banks, deep drainage, and major earthwork projects.

Requirements

• Experience with highways and bridges is ideally preferred.
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Background in highways and heavy civil engineering infrastructure projects.
