Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Road Marking Specialist for a 2-month contract in Northallerton. The role involves delivering road marking projects across the highway network, operating specialised equipment, and coordinating with site teams.

You will travel in a company vehicle to various sites and work within live highway environments. The ideal candidate has road marking experience, is comfortable outdoors in all weather, and can participate in winter maintenance and emergency response

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in road marking and line marking works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site specifications.
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours call-outs.

Responsibilities

• Apply permanent and temporary road markings using thermoplastic and paint.
• Operate road marking machinery and vehicles.
• Set up and manage temporary traffic controls.
• Maintain daily records and safety documentation.
• Support winter maintenance and emergency response.
