MATCHTECH GROUP is seeking a Highways Resilience Manager for a major local authority highways contract in Cheshire. The role leads the Senior and Local Highways teams, oversees Section 58 inspections, and directs resilient and winter maintenance operations to ensure service delivery.

Qualifications
- Experience in highways maintenance, local highways, inspections, winter services or contingency planning.
- Experience engaging with councillors, stakeholders and the public.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
- Good understanding of highway maintenance methods, technologies and operational delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Senior and Local Highways teams to meet agreed timescales.
- Oversee Section 58 inspection activities and policy-compliant inspections.
- Direct winter maintenance planning and weather-related decision making.
- Coordinate emergency response services and resilience functions.
- Collate and align activities across inspections, resilience and local highways teams.
