Job summary

Amey in Forfar is seeking an Operations Assistant to support highways and infrastructure services across the North East of Scotland, coordinating day-to-day activities and assisting with winter service delivery. The role works alongside Supervisors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to high standards.

You'll manage plant, materials, subcontractors and records, prepare permits and briefings, and contribute to incident investigations and commercial reporting while developing

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating teams and building relationships.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to support emergency response and winter service activities.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and SSSTS is desirable (training will be provided).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the planning and coordination of highways maintenance activities
• Managing plant, materials, subcontractors and operational records
• Assisting with winter service delivery and emergency response activities
• Preparing permits, operational briefings and works documentation
• Supporting incident investigations and commercial reporting
• Coordinating training, timesheets and workforce administration
• Helping ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and accurately
