Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Estimator to support highways and infrastructure projects across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West. This permanent role covers pricing from initial enquiry through to submission, building competitive tenders and presenting commercially sensible solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating or tendering experience within highways or civil projects.
• Understanding of highways, civils or infrastructure projects.
• Commercial awareness and risk assessment capability.
• Ability to interpret technical and contractual information.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and tendering work from initial enquiry to submission.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender information.
• Assess commercial, contractual, operational and technical risk.
• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Build tender submissions around customer requirements.
• Support value-engineering and alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams.
• Contribute to tender reviews and bid strategy.
