Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Estimator to price and tender highways and infrastructure work across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and the North West. The role requires reviewing drawings, specs and risk, building competitive bids and presenting commercially sound solutions to clients.

You’ll join an established estimating function with senior colleagues, enjoy a flexible/hybrid setup, and benefit from a 37.5-hour week, company car, pension and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating within highways, surfacing, civils or infrastructure.
• Ability to review drawings, specs and tender information.
• Ability to interpret technical and contractual information.

Responsibilities

• Pricing and tendering work from enquiry through submission.
• Produce accurate and competitive estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender data.
• Assess commercial, contractual, operational and technical risk.
• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Build tender submissions around customer requirements.
• Support value engineering and alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams.
• Contribute to tender reviews and bid strategy.
• Review completed tenders and capture lessons learned.
