Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Estimator to support a major highways and infrastructure contracting business across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and the North West. You will price work from enquiry through submission, review drawings, assess risk and build competitive tenders.

The role offers hybrid working, a base salary up to £47,000 plus a company car and up to 8% bonus, with private medical and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating within highways, surfacing, civils or infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender information.
• Commercial awareness and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate and competitive estimates.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender information.
• Assessing commercial, contractual, operational and technical risk.
• Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Building tender submissions around customer requirements.
• Supporting value-engineering and alternative solutions.
• Working with operational and commercial teams.
• Contributing to tender reviews and bid strategy.
• Reviewing completed tenders and identifying lessons learned.
• Ensuring tenders meet governance and commercial requirements.
