Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Estimator for highways and infrastructure, covering Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and the North West. The role involves pricing from enquiry to submission, with hybrid working and a base up to £47,000 plus benefits including a company car and bonus.

You will review drawings, assess risks and build competitive tenders while collaborating with commercial and operational teams. NEC experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating or tendering within highways, surfacing, civils or infrastructure.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk assessment ability.
• Ability to interpret technical and contractual information.
• Experience working with operational and commercial stakeholders is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and competitive estimates for tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender information.
• Assess commercial, contractual, operational and technical risk.
• Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Build tender submissions around customer requirements.
• Support value engineering and alternative solutions.
• Work with operational and commercial teams to refine bids.
• Contribute to tender reviews and bid strategy.
• Ensure tenders meet governance and commercial requirements.
