Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is recruiting for a Highways Emergency Response Team (ERT) Level 1 to support the M25 network from Denham, Uxbridge. The role involves shift work, travel between depots, and winter service duties.

You will perform maintenance tasks, implement Traffic Management, and maintain accurate records while upholding zero harm and safety standards. A valid CE licence, DQC and TMF/LTMO qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence CE and DQC.
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC) required.
• CSCS Operative Card required.
• 12AB for Static Temporary Traffic Management on HP/APTR network.
• TMF qualification or LTMO preferred.
• 12AB IPV courses completed.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance, carriageway and soft estate tasks as instructed.
• Implement Chapter 8 compliant Traffic Management per policies and risk assessments.
• Prepare reports and records with clear written/verbal communication.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain driving records.
• Raise safety issues affecting network operations and report defects.
