Norfolk County Council is seeking a Highways Development Management & Licensing Officer in Norwich. The role involves managing a caseload in the Great Yarmouth area, advising the Local Planning Authority on highway matters, and coordinating minor improvement schemes.

You will engage with planning professionals and elected members, delivering high quality solutions. You will have an HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and proven highways experience, with excellent writing and briefing skills

Responsabilidades

• Manage caseload for the Great Yarmouth area and provide professional highway advice to the LPA.
• Assess highway implications on development proposals and coordinate minor highway improvement schemes.
• Coordinate GVOL responses and liaise with Traffic Commissioner as required.
• Visit development sites roughly one day per week and communicate with stakeholders at public meetings.
